Easy Etched Glass Coffee Storage

THIS SHOP HAS BEEN COMPENSATED BY COLLECTIVE BIAS, INC. AND ITS ADVERTISER. ALL OPINIONS ARE MINE ALONE. #OneTreeOneBag #COLLECTIVEBIAS

One of the simplest joys in my morning routine, after early snuggles with Max, is my first cup of coffee. Steaming hot and fragrant, I can’t imagine a better way to start the day. I love that I can rely on my favorite Starbucks brews to help me get my day kicked off just right, even at home.

I pick up delicious Starbucks® Pike Place® Roast whenever I’m running low at home, and I can bring the yum of Starbucks® coffee right into my kitchen, bringing my favorite coffee shop right into my house!

For every bag of Starbucks® 10-12z & 20z Ground or Whole Bean coffee purchased at participating Albertsons Company stores in the U.S. from May 1st through May 28, Starbucks will donate 70¢ to Conservation International to foster thriving coffee communities.

While the packaging is great at the store, I want a more efficient way to store it at home, and as a bonus, I’d love if it’s cute as well. That’s where my etched-glass storage jar comes in handy! I simply refill the jar whenever it gets low, and I have a sweet little display of my favorite thing, coffee!

Gather supplies: Letter stickers, etching cream, jar (I recommend one with a rubber seal to maintain the freshness and flavor of your coffee), and masking tape. That’s it!

Using the letter stickers and tape, create a stencil on the jar. (Be sure to really press down and adhere the edges well to prevent leaks and get crisp edges.)

Brush on a thick layer of etching cream, and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

Rinse well under running water, and peel off the letter stickers and masking tape.

Fill with Starbucks® Pike Place® Roast!

It's that easy!

By buying Starbucks® Pike Place® Roast this May, you can help have a positive impact on other communities in the world. To learn more, visit conservation.org/onetree.

I am confused on how to etch the glass. Are you putting the tape around the glass jar 1st & then the lettering ? Thank you for letting people know how to do this, and explaining again to me how to. Sincerely, Gayl

It doesn’t matter which is first, however it would be easier to align your letters by placing them on your jar prior to placing tape on the jar.
