Uh oh.

I need to stop Googling for wedding stuff.
I really do.

Because what happens is I find all this other stuff that I *must* have, and I can't get it out of my head.
Yesterday, in my web cruising, I discovered the fabulousness that is Red Cheese.
They rent photobooths for special events (Hmm.. like weddings perhaps?)

It's a pretty ridiculous amount of money, but I'm determined to make it happen… I'm going to sell some of my Sizzlets on eBay, and do a *major* purge of the old scrap stash and see what I can come up with money-wise.

I actually talked to a caterer as well, and got some prices from him… it's so much money… all of it is.
We're doing a lot better than I had thought though, savings wise, so that's all good.

I want this photobooth so bad that I'm thinking about doing silk flowers to cut that cost (my bouquest in silk: about $30… in flowers, over $100…) but I don't know… mom seems pretty anti-fake on the flower thing.
But she also thinks I'm crazy for even *liking* the photobooth idea.

Who knows?

    what an awesome idea!
a friend used fake flowers for her wedding and they turned out gorgeous.

ten years from now, what will you remember? the unique photobooth that nobody else you know had… or the flowers?

I just wanted to comment on your post from jan 6th… my husband ordered his ring from titaniumera.com they were great to do business with! free engraving too. I also didn’t care if our rings matched, i more cared that he would have something HE would ~like~ to wear.

Lizz–to hell with whoever ktbean is. It’s YOUR wedding. Do what you want. You’re a big girl with a very good head on her shoulders and who is very capable of assessing your budget, your needs, your wants, your priorities. It’s YOUR wedding. You could plan the perfect Martha wedding, and STILL 10 years from now have things you regret. That’s NORMAL. We all change over time and things that are important to you now, may not be then. And vice versa. This is YOUR wedding. This is Jaime’s wedding. The decision to have the photobooth or not affects NO ONE but you and he, so no one else even has the RIGHT to be pissy about it. How selfish! (of them, not you). Those of us who love you unconditionally are here to cheer you on.

    I love you!
