We get piles of holiday cards every year, and so many of them have adorable photos of our friends and their kids on them.

I always struggle with how to display them, but I had this idea and will be using this for our 2013 cards!

I'll be trimming the cards down as they come in, so I just have the photo… that's the only part I really care about, anyway!

This is super easy to make, and looks SO cute on the wall!

All you need is a straw wreath form, a spool of wide ribbon (I used 1.5″ wide wired ribbon, a 25′ spool and it was almost exactly the right amount.

photowreath01Pin one end of the ribbon on the back and wrap around, covering the straw.

Like I said, the 25′ length was very nearly perfect; I didn't have any ribbon left over!

Just use a couple of straight pins along the way to help keep the ribbon in place, and use a couple of pins to finish it off.

photowreath02I used decorative green pins, but you could use plain flat head ones too… I stuck some extras up in the top of the wreath, so they're easy to get to as the cards come in and I want to add photos to it, but like I said, you can do whatever works best for you!

This would also be a great way to display some of your favorite photos from holidays past! This one that I just put together has a few of our favorite Christmas photos, but I'll replace them with card photos as soon as they start coming in!
