I don't know about you, but I always struggle to come up with gift ideas for both my dad and my husband, but this year, I'm going to support small business for Father's Day and buy them gifts that have been handcrafted with love by makers like me.

Father's Day gifts are often challenging; dads aren't traditionally sentimental like moms tend to be, so sweet handprint art and personalized jewelry may not be their style, but there are always ways to show them you love them without getting too cheeseball. (And I love cheeseball!)

I've gathered this collection of gift ideas in a variety of price points and categories, so you're sure to find something great for the dad you love. It doesn't matter if he's actually a parent, any guy who is important in your life deserves to be celebrated for Father's Day!

Shop Small Business for Father's Day

Pew Pew Lasercraft: Of course I had to include my own products! I've designed a collection of items for Father's Day, including the personalized names keychain you see above. I can do any “dad” name you like, so it's great for dad, grandpa, papi, papa… you name him, I can make a keychain for him!
I've also got a couple of new items, including this engraved bottle opener or I can convert your child's handwriting into a custom laser-engraved handwriting keychain. As always, I also love doing custom orders, so if you have an idea (or need an idea!) please reach out and let's come up with something amazing!

Literary Blooms: I love how these pretty decorative flowers are made from old books! While there's lots of romance options, these ones made from a  Frank Sinatra book or the Lord of the Rings trilogy have a distinctly masculine feel to them.
InBooze: Ashleigh, the creator of InBooze, is a dear friend and we've been huge fans of her product since she first launched. An InBooze kit is like a giant tea bag to make a pitcher of cocktails! The fruit is all locally sourced in Michigan, and she dehydrates and packages everything herself. InBooze kits make a mean Old Fashioned, and the low-sugar Spicy Margarita is delicious. I'm waiting on an order of the Caribbean Rum Punch as I write this, so I can't wait to check that new flavor out!

The Bearded Mug Man: What dad doesn't need a new mug? This adorable personalized mug will remind him that nobody measures up.

Lacey Olson Design: Oh my goodness, the stickers and magnets! Help dad celebrate his fandom with a set of references to his favorite show! I ordered a set of Letterkenney magnets that will look perfect on our garage fridge, and I may have to snag this Schitt's Creek Simply the Best sticker for myself.

Ironworks Pottery: When is a mug not just a mug? When it's a handcrafted piece of art like the ones from Ironworks Pottery. I almost want to say they're too pretty to use, but that's not fair to the mugs, so I'll just say you should order one and appreciate it daily.

Sydney's Dog Cookies: Show your love for dad by showing love for his bestie. These Bacon Snickerdoodle Dog Treats look amazing, and Sydney uses only the highest quality ingredients in her treats for pups.

Of Simplicity and Spice: Looking for an elegant gift for dad? These Aquamarine and Silver Cufflinks are beautiful, or there's a creepy coolness to this Snail Shell Bookmark, which features real abandoned shells encased in resin.

Lisa Lehmann Designs: I've been a fan of Lisa's minimalist jewelry for a long time, and love some of her more masculine pieces. This personalized dad necklace features the word for “dad” in half a dozen languages, and can be customized with punched holes representing each child. Want something he can wear every day? This hammered silver cross is pretty spectacular.

Coral Bunny and Lo: Grab one of these handsewn items in a fun print for dad! Beverage carriers and tortilla warmers are just perfect for a food and drink loving papa!

Four Eyes Creative: How about a gift the whole family can enjoy? A piece of art to hang on the wall is always a fun gift, and we're kind of obsessed with these adorable family portraits. Get your wizard on with a Harry Potter portrait, or live out your scary movie fantasies with horror movie pic.

Sew Much More: Golf accessories are probably one of the most traditional Father's Day gifts, so why not get him an embroidered golf towel? (Not recommended if your dad doesn't golf)

Tatz Deco Art: I'm loving these juxtaposed paintings so much! This boxing art print is hilarious, and the floral Star Wars stuff is right up my alley (of course).

Invoke Products: Candles are always a good gift, and this hand-poured soy candle features a label with the very definition of the wor “father” on it for decoration. Perfect.

Bite the Heads off Cookies: Kristi makes awesome cookies and ships them all over. She has some options on her site, but you can also reach out to her if you want something specific. I commissioned her to make a themed set for a friend recently, and they turned out amazing!

Facequality: If you've got a dad with a good skincare routine, he'll appreciate these handsewn, reusable pads for product application. Available in tons of cute prints, there's bound to be one that's perfect for your guy.

Art by Alicia L: If a written note is more your style, Alicia offers handmade greeting cards and is also available for commissions, if you have an idea that you need to make a reality!

I love gifting the people who are most important to me, so I'm a big fan of Father's Day (It's possible that one or more of these items are on their way to me right now for Jamie!)

Buying handmade shows the recipient that you care and helps support small businesses and craftspeople make a living. It's really a win all around!
