For anyone who's on my Facebook, you know the issues I've been having with sewing in a zipper… I had finished this dress (pattern Butterick 4434) weeks ago, but was totally stumped by the zipper sewing process.
After some creative thinking and a couple of patient friends to give me input, I got it done, and here's the result!
Faith's official third birthday dress!
She doesn't always want to let Katie make her have “pretty hair,” so I whipped up a couple of ribbons to match the dress and increase Katie's chances of getting Faith's hair up for her party… it totally worked!
Such a cute dress! Love the fabric and the pom pom trim!
Katie, Faith looks absolutely adorable in the beautiful dress you made her. I am proud of you. Doesn't look like you chose a simple pattern for your first project. You go girl… Sewing is not only fun, it's very productive and a great thing to some day teach your girls. Love you, Aunt Cyndi
