…we have to invite them!

I've been putting some actual thinking and working on time in on our wedding invitations… I'd made this really pretty little thing, with green and ivory and some ribbon and a claddagh and pretty scripty fonts.
I posted it for some of my friends' input, and my dear friend Rothko said that it seemed awfully traditional for our “out of the box” wedding… the more I thought about, the more right she was.
Our goal, going into this thing, had been to personalize *every* aspect of the day, to have every element be just ours, no cookie cutter bits about it.
So, back to the drawing board (or scrapping table, I should say!) I went.

And I played around a bit, talked to a couple of friends, and got an idea, and that idea turned into this, which I love!

It's a 5×7 card, and the map, RSVP and such bits will go into the pocket on the inside cover.
The green is Bazzill, and I'll use the paper that matches my envies for the rest (it happens to be the same paper we used for Katie's invites last year! LOL)
