In case of emergency shadowbox

This post contains affiliate links. In Case of Emergency Shadowbox

This emergency shadowbox is a great little gift that you can easily customize for the recipient. It would be a great Father's Day present, with dad's favorite liquor, or to commemorate a new job, with chocolate for those tough days. It literally takes minutes to make, and will be sure to make the recipient smile. Depending on the size, it's a great desktop or bookshelf sitter gift, but could also be hung on a wall.

Emergency shadowbox supplies

Emergency shadowbox supplies

  • Shadowbox frame
  • Red adhesive vinyl
  • Silhouette machine
  • Paper filler
  • Yellow cardstock
  • Black electrical tape
  • Guilty pleasure items

Use your Silhouette to cut “In case of emergency break glass” sticker from red adhesive vinyl.

(I used Impact font for mine)

For the background, use the electrical tape and cardstock to create a diagonal striped sheet.

Adhere the sticker to the front of the shadowbox glass.

Assemble into the shadowbox and seal shut.

Emergency shadowbox with hammer

I mean, that's it! You could include the cute little hammer too, if you really want to go all out, but even without it, this is a great gift!

What would go in your emergency shadowbox?

Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! Thing number one, I'm tall. I've been told I should have a warning on my blog, so here it is! I am taller in real life than I appear on the internet.
