The last few weeks have been completely insane! The semester is coming to a close, and I'm missing finals week, so I'm trying to get my classes done a week early… I turned in my 8 page reasearch paper last night, and am hoping to take my math final this evening at class.
We leave for Europe in 12 DAYS! I cannot belive how close we are now… that I'm actually going to BE THERE!
It's still so surreal for me, kind of like our wedding day! I've been wanting this and waiting for SO. Freaking. Long. that I can't believe it's happening! There is nothing in my life that I've wanted as long as I've wanted to go Paris. I'm approaching 25 years of dreaming of it, so I can barely sit still I'm so thrilled!
I'm driving Suzy crazy, pointing out several times a day how long until we leave… she's going to be so lost without me at the store! LOL

We had the first two of our THREE National Scrapbook Day crops this past weekend… I worked on Saturday and played on Sunday… wasn't as productive as I've been at past events, but I was running games and doing demos as well, so I can't complain too much!

Check it out! I actually put some pages in an ALBUM! This is one of the American Crafts Modern chipboard albums (12×12) that I'm using for my fun wedding pages… it's covered with silver BAzzill Bling cardstock, and the “2” and the letters are from Scenic Route. I ran the May Arts net ribbon to cover a sliver of nekkid chipboard that shows through (since the cover is a bit larger than 12×12, it took 2 sheets of paper to cover it)

The title page for said wedding album… the paper is Fancy Pants, ivory letters are Scenic Route and the scripty ones are Inspirables by EK Success. If you value your sanity, DO NOT BUY those script stickers. They're God-awful to use… I went through 2 packages of them trying to get letters that didn't tear. The sticky part kept peeling off and then the sticker was really fragile and it tore as well. Such a PITA for the price… I'm emailing EK today, but I'm not expecting much. They look nice though! LOL

From beginning to end… this will be the *last* page in the wedding album! LOL IT's one of my most favorite photos, and as the journaling says, it's the photo I saw in my head when I imagined the ones I wanted taken at our wedding. I used American Crafts foam hearts on this, a little Fancy Pants paper and American Crafts (red) letter rub-ons and a 7Gypsies “once upon a time” rub-on. I actually used pop-dots on this, which is something I rarely do… I think I need to use them more often! I like the subtle way they enhance things… I also used the hearts themselves like pop dots for the title, so it's elevated a bit off the page as well.

A sweet pic of Katie and Faith when she was so, so tiny… loads of Primas on this one! They're from either the bra or pantie packages… I don't remember which one I grabbed. Fancy Pants paper (wow! I didn't realize how often I use that!) and K&Co rub-ons (which work like a dream and I love love love them!)

So I don't know if I'll post again before we leave… next week is hectic, with Mother's Day on Sunday, and Erin and I hosting Angel's bridal shower, and then we have Wendy-related wedding events next weekend… and then we leave!

So, if I don't post again, my next one will be FULL of photos and stories!
