Sweet Dreams

Big Boy Bed Success, day night 1
Jamie came down from putting him to bed and said, “No more head down after stories!” It's like it just hit him that our baby is growing up faster than either of us can believe.
When they read bedtime stories, Max would sit on Jamie's lap in the rocker and put his head on Jamie's shoulder after the story. Now Max is in his bed while Jamie reads to him. No more head down.
One less bit of baby, one more step towards growing up.

Up next? We're moving the rocking chair back to my parents house. I'm already mentally preparing.

They do grow up so quickly! I love this shot… arms and legs all akimbo.

Oh man. I was just looking at my baby in the crib sleeping the other day and thought— wow, she looks like a little girl. I'm not ready!

Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! Thing number one, I'm tall. I've been told I should have a warning on my blog, so here it is! I am taller in real life than I appear on the internet.
