Welcome to Jamaica

It was a long trip to get to Jamiaca; our desire to use Southwest Airlines miles led to some *ahem* creative booking, which meant a full 26 hours of travel, including an overnight in Dallas.
It had been hours and hours on an airplane, and Max is a champion traveler. He doesn't complain, he loves adventuring, and doesn't even complain about being relegated to the middle seat.
Knowing that paradise was waiting for us at the end of the journey certainly didn't hurt, but this was just more than we could have asked for.
As we descended down over Jamaica from the clouds, here's the view that greeted us.

It's hard to be disappointed in overcast skies and rain on vacation when this is how it starts off.

Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! Thing number one, I'm tall. I've been told I should have a warning on my blog, so here it is! I am taller in real life than I appear on the internet.
