Thursday #87

Yesterday wasn't just Thursday #87, it was also my and Jamie's THIRD wedding anniversary! As is our tradition, we went out and got our tree last night!
An addition to the tradition this year (Heh. I rhymed!) is that we invited my sister and the girls to join us, since Jason was stuck at training until late… we had a fabulous dinner of shepherd's pie and then headed to the Christmas tree lot.
There was a minor mishap with paying for the tree, but Katie saved the day, and we'll all benefit in the long run!
Hopefully, Jason will be able to join us next year!

Because it was a “special occassion,” here are a couple of bonus pics too!

And in other exciting news, Jamie and I are taking our first overnight away this weekend! He's taking me to the Gosby House Inn in Pacific Grove, and Max is staying with my parents! I'm excited, Jamie's excited, Nana's excited… I don't think Max knows, but I'm sure he'd be excited too, if he knew what was going on!
