Our first dance, to”In My Life” by (duh!) the Beatles. We had the best of intentions to take dance classes, but time got away from us, and we had to fake it. The Friday morning before the wedding, I dragged Jamie into our office (where the Mac is, with iTunes on it) soI could teach him a couple of moves… I didn't want to get out there and just sway for 3 minutes! I got him doing a basic underarm turn and “the cuddle” before he had to head off to work… I think it went pretty OK! LOL We got applause when we busted out “the moves”

If you have *ever* met my dad, you know why this picture is perfect! LOL I'm not sure which story he was telling at this point, but the look on my and Jamie's faces are classic “listening to Joe” faces! LOL

We didn't do a bouquet or garter toss… I love my single girlfriends too much to subject them to the bouquet, and the short length of my dress could have made the garter toss border on obscene. We did something different… in case you don't know, Jamie and I met in high school, basically at church summer camp… (I'm keeping this short! LOL) Our friends Jane and Austin (the priest for our ceremony and his wife) met the same way, basically at the same time. They've been married a little over 3 years. David and Shaela, pictured below, have the same story, yet again! All of us grew up together (basically) and went to events together in high school… all of us reconnected 10+ years later, and these relationships are for real. David and Shaela are getting married on 7/7/07… I gave her my bouquet (as the next bride in the room) and Jamie gave David a copy of “The Complete Idiot's Guide to Being a Groom.” The book is special because it was given to Jamie by my BIL, Jason. Jason had gotten it from Austin (the priest) and Austin had gotten it from Dave, the Best Man. The guys have been signing their names in the book as it's been passed along, and now it was time to pass it to David. We can't wait to see who gets it next!

My gorgeous friend, and October 2007 bride, Nichole.

We had coloring books and crayons to help keep the wee ones occupied… at the end of the evening, someone (I have no idea who!) pinned this page from one of the books onto Jamie's back… we kept it (of course!) and it will be in our scrapbook.

BIL and I conspired to surprise my sister with the first dance song from their wedding, “All About Loving You” by Bon Jovi. I had wanted to surpsie them both with it, but the DJ didn't have it available, so Jason came to the rescue with his iPod!

The Best Man rocking out with his DD, the flower girl! I love these kinds of shots, and they can *never* be set up on purpose!

Jamie, his dad, and 2 of his brothers, Tim (far left) and David (far right). Unfortunately, 2 more brothers were unable to join us…

Katie and Faith just after the ceremony… this picture cracks me up! Faith's mouth is *impossibly* tiny! LOL

Our friends Rick and Heidi… notice the beautiful beer! That was the “Fat Cat Wheat”… both beers turned out well and received raves from our guests! (All of whom were more than happy to be send home with a six-pack or so!)
