What's not to like about sweet pumpkin pie-like filling wrapped in a crisp puff pastry? The pumpkin pasties are like a tiny bite of pie, but not. One of the first treats Harry Potter has on his journey to Hogwarts, this classic fall sweet is a lovely change from pumpkin pie.
Serve them warm or cool, or you could drizzle them with a simple glaze to make them extra special. Next time you're looking for a special fall-themed treat to make, give these pumpkin pasties a try!
These are the perfect snack to make while you curl up and read Harry Potter (with or without your kids) Add a cup of tea (or Hot Butterbeer!) and it's just like you're in your common room at Hogwarts.
This recipe yields about 9 pieces, so you'll want to buy additional boxes of puff pastry (in the freezer section at your grocery store) if you need to make a larger batch.
