Off with her… HAIR!

This is what I looked like when I left my house this morning:


I haven't cut my hair in almost exactly 2 years; I cut it pretty short just before Max came home from the hospital and added bangs, and other than a couple of bang trims since then, I haven't touched it. My friend Sharon got her hair chopped short just a few months after her son was born, and it's been in the back of my mind ever since… she looks amazing, and I haven't been able to stop considering it ever since.

So I made an appointment for a consultation at local salon; I called them and asked for a “short hair specialist” and that's how I got hooked up with Lauren. (Lauren at Changes in WC… she's AWESOME!)

I met Lauren last week, she talked it over with me, looked at my inspiration photos and said I should go for it!

So this morning, I did!

Thanks to Katie for spending her usual family morning with me at the salon, to shoot some pictures to memorialize the craziness! So I think I'm going to stick with this for a while… I really love it, and think I might be a short hair girl after all!
