Disclaimer: This is me. I'm not judging those who succeed at NaBloPoMo. Hell, I admire the crap out of you. But me? This is the approach I'm taking instead:

I did pretty OK with my first real NaBloPoMo. I made it to the 11th and even posted twice on two separate days.

So now this is my first post since Friday, and I'm off the NaBloPoMo train, but I don't mind.

NoBloPoMo is about writing every day, but here's the thing: I missed this weekend because I was out living my life, instead of just writing about it. While the *idea* of writing daily seems really lovely and romantic, I'm not going to miss out on face time with people I adore in order to do it.

I'm not going to stress about pre-writing posts and scheduling them to publish. I'm just not that kind of person, and would rather just skip it than have it put that much pressure on me.

At first, I was a little bummed that I didn't post anything on Saturday or Sunday. But check out what I did instead:

I spent an incredible weekend with good friends, amazing food and wine, and missed 2 days of posting, but you know what? I'm OK with that.
