Like buttah

First a quick intro: In an effort to keep some of the writing momentum I first got with Reverb10, I've decided to join with Mama Kat's Writing Workshop; it's an informal sharing of prompts… I'm still figuring it out, but here's my first contribution!

Max melts me (like buttah) on a pretty regular basis; you know this clip from The Family Guy?

He's got his own version… “Excuse me? Excuse me, Mommy! Scuuuuuuuse me! Excuse me?” And then the exasperated “What?!?!” that's so familiar to parents of toddlers. “I love you soooo much!” and then he wanders off back to continue whatever important to a two-year old task is at hand.

He goes through phases with how he expresses his love, and every one is adorable and kills me (in a good way) Both hands on my cheeks, nose tip to nose tip, “I love you, Mommy!” He could probably ask for the keys to my car in that moment, and I'd have a hard time turning him down.

Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! Thing number one, I'm tall. I've been told I should have a warning on my blog, so here it is! I am taller in real life than I appear on the internet.
