I’m on a boat! In Chicago! With fireworks! Is this heaven?

There are things in this world that I love. Lots of things.
But among things I love and don't get enough of? Boats and fireworks.
It's why I'm so excited to get to check out the Sea Dog Fireworks Cruise when I'm in Chicago at the end of the month!
I always get fireworks for my birthday, of course, but BONUS FIREWORKS? I'm over-the-moon excited about this! And bonus fireworks from a boat in the middle of whichever Great Lake is nearest Chicago? (It's Lake Michigan) It's a win-win-win for me!
Here's the info about the cruise I get to go on:
Lakefront Fireworks Cruise
Enjoy front-row seats to the spectacular fireworks display aboard our Lakefront Fireworks Cruise! Cruise along Lake Michigan with an exciting speedboat ride paired with an informative tour of the Chicago skyline, then end the evening with a dazzling fireworks show and top-40 hits playing in the background! The open aired vessel allows for panoramic views, providing a perfect view. The Seadog Fireworks Cruise is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays, running from Memorial Day – Labor Day.
It'll be loads of fun, I'm sure, but that isn't all that Sea Dog offers!
They have other cruises to check out, including a Lakefront Speedboat Tour, a 30-minute cruise along the shoreline with a descriptive tour of Chicago’s famous skyline, while playing your favorite music. The Extreme Thrill Ride, which is “perfect for the dare-devil in you!” This 30-minute ride features splash down stops, 180-degree turns, slalom runs and more.
I'm considering booking the River and Lake Architectural Tour for us when Max and Jamie get into town. It reminds me of the boat tours we did on our honeymoon, and I don't think Max would be into the speedboat/daredevil ones. That one allows you to enjoy historic views of Chicago’s famous landmarks and neighborhoods during this 75-minute cruise on both Lake Michigan and the Chicago River.
This cruise will be a great kick-off to an exciting week for me, and I can't wait to get there!
Disclosure: I received my ticket to the cruise in exchange for writing this post. All opinions are my own, descriptions of the cruises were provided by the company. But it's gonna be awesome!
Maybe we need to get you and the family to Bend, Oregon this fall. I know someone who may be able to hook a sista up.
