I ♥ Faces: My Summer

Our summer started early, with a first-week-f-May trip to Florida! Max got to meet Grammy for the first time, and we had a wonderful time! It was our first trip to Grammy's new digs in the sun, and I can't wait to take Jamie back some day!

We marked May 31, Pentecost, by baptizing Max! Austin performed the baptism and Dave and Ann Marie are Max's godparents!

In early June, we went up to Grass Valley to spend a few days with Grandpa Ed and Lucinda, and Max got to meet his *other* great-grandparents, (Lucinda's dad and step-mom) PopPop and Gabby, along with Uncle Mason and his family.

While in Grass Valley, we made the trek to the Valhalla Ren Faire, marking Max's first trip to Faire!

And we topped off the week with a stop at the Jelly Belly Factory for a tour!

We took Max to his first baseball game, where the Giants beat the A's!

And then celebrated Auntie Katie's birthday the next evening with a surprise 30th party!

I turned 32 just 2 weeks after Katie's birthday, so we spent the day at the parade and then watched fireworks… our family tradition!

So here it is, just the first week in August, and we've had a jam packed summer already! Still to come, Max's first camping trip, Jamie's 34th birthday, the birth of Max's new cousin, Tic Tac… so much good stuff!
