Crush Cheerios™ to approximately a flour-like texture. I use my blender’s pulse function until everything is ground up. You’ll want to yield about 1 ½ cups once it’s ground up.
Mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl, all the wet ingredients in another, then combine everything together.
Heat up your waffle iron to medium-high heat.
Pour batter onto hot waffle iron; let cook for 4-5 minutes.
These are more fragile than other waffles, so carefully remove from the waffle iron onto a plate.
Top waffles with sizzled bananas and enjoy!
