Hi! I'm Lizz, married to Jamie, we are the parents of Max(well). We've been married since 2006, and Max was born in 2008. We recently added 2 silly cats to the mix, who Max promptly named Princess Leia and Chewie.
I was a graphic designer for a long time, but switched careers to social media and online community management in 2012 and couldn't be happier. This crazy online world is my passion, and using it to help companies connect with their fans, users and customers? I love it! I also love to talk about it, so don't hesitate to reach out.
Jamie and I have known each other since high school, and I had a big crush on him back in the day. We met at summer camp, but didn't get together until 10 years later. Of the couples/families that make up our 10 closest friends, I think 9 of them were also at the same summer camp.
We talk about sending Max there too, but then we're torn, since we know what *really* goes on after the counselors fall asleep! 😉
We're from the San Francisco Bay Area (basically Silicon Valley) and have both lived here our whole lives, with no desire to relocate too far away from right here.

- Our marriage ceremony was performed by one of the friends from summer camp, just a week after he was ordained a real, honest to goodness Episcopal priest. Wanna see wedding pics?
- We are dorky big Beatles fans. Our wedding was kind of Beatles themed (ceremony music was all Beatles and the invitations referenced “All You Need is Love”) We even went to Liverpool on our honeymoon.
- Max was born 12 weeks early due to sudden and severe pre-eclampsia. He weighed 2 lbs, 4.8 oz. and was 14.5″ long. You can read his dramatic birth story here.
- I have taken a photo of Max every Thursday since the Thursday he was born. You can see all of the photos up to this point right here.
- I was thrilled, overwhelmed and honored to be a part of the 2013 San Francisco cast of Listen to Your Mother. My post, 91 Days, is right here if you'd like to read it. *Kleenex warning
- I am a two-time kidney transplant recipient, one from my mom in 2004, and then again from my brother-in-law in 2010.
