36 x 36 – Updating my Shaklee180 Goals & Recommitting

And month three comes to close with me reaching a pretty amazing milestone.
Thirty Pounds lost!
I have to admit, they aren't dropping off like they did at the start, but part of that is totally my fault. As time has passed, I'm finding it harder and harder to really stick to the plan. This is such a crazy time of year; since my last month's post, I've had Mother's Day weekend, a girls' getaway to Seattle, a busy time at work… needless to say, I've found myself grabbing less-than-stellar choices instead of my trusty Shaklee products.
I've been eating a lot more bars lately, and in fact, on May 1, I had this much smoothie mix left from my April batch: (food styling by Max)
I just have trouble getting myself up to make my smoothies, and instead chowed on the bars instead. Getting the blender and the fruit and the milk just seems like so. much. work. some days… I've gotten lazy.
We've added the gym to our routine, 3 or 4 times a week, so I think that's why I'm still managing to lose. But full disclosure: I've been slacking off.
So as of today, I'm recommitting to Shaklee180โข, and setting a new goal.
Today is May 24. My birthday is July 4. That's 41 days until my 36th birthday. I want to lose 6 more lbs before then. Thirty-six lbs before my 36th birthday.
So starting today, well as soon as I get up make my lunch smoothie, I'm rededicating myself to Shaklee180 and to reaching my 36 x 36 goal.
Side note: With my 30 lb loss, I'm more than halfway to my ultimate goal! In a perfect world, I'd like to ditch another 28 lbs. So yup, more than halfway there!

It’s not slacking off, it’s life. It sounds like this is a good program for people with a life–you can pick right back up after special events.
I actually got to play model this past weekend for a friend who is a photographer! I can’t WAIT to see them, and will post them for sure!
Holy crap!! 30lbs lost…. you’re my hero! I’m still struggling to lose that last 10 – 15 (20 in my dreams) pounds!

I tried on my goal jeans yesterday, and could actually get them up over my butt, so that’s exciting! Not like I can button them or anything, but I’ll get there! ๐

Lizz, you are looking great and I think it is normal to let things slide a bit because life happens and then have then recommit again. I’ve done it a dozen times so I hope it is normal. I think you are such an inspiration and I’m here to cheer you on! =)
